Product details

Ibanez AEWC400-AMS

The Ibanez AEWC400-AMS is a premium acoustic-electric guitar from the AEWC Series, built around Ibanez’s specially designed AEWC comfort body with a soft Florentine-style cutaway. Its Flamed Maple top, back and sides give the guitar a distinctive figured appearance and a focused, articulate tonal character. The ergonomic body features a forearm contour and comfortable dimensions, making it well suited to extended playing, songwriting, fingerstyle and stage performance.

The guitar features an AEWC Asymmetric Comfort Nyatoh neck with a satin finish, 634 mm (25") scale length, 43 mm nut width, 400 mm fretboard radius and 20 large frets. The Rosewood fretboard and asymmetric neck profile provide comfortable access across the neck. For amplified performance, the AEWC400-AMS uses a Fishman S-Core undersaddle pickup with an Ibanez AEQ-SP2 preamp and onboard tuner, offering Volume, Bass and Treble controls.

The AMS (Amber Sunburst High Gloss) finish highlights the figuring of the Flamed Maple body, complemented by an abalone soundhole rosette and chrome die-cast tuners with black knobs. The Rosewood AEWC original top-loading bridge makes string changes quick and eliminates the need for conventional bridge pins. Balanced XLR and 1/4" outputs provide flexible connection options for amplifiers, PA systems and recording equipment, while the electronics operate on a single 9V battery.
