Product details

Ibanez AEWC621-BOT

The Ibanez AEWC621-BOT is a 6-string acoustic-electric guitar from the AEWC Series, designed around Ibanez’s comfortable AEWC body shape. It combines a Spruce top with Sapele back and sides for a clear, articulate response with a warm and full-bodied midrange. The compact body and ergonomic design make it comfortable for extended playing while retaining the projection and versatility expected from a full-size acoustic guitar.

The guitar features a Comfort Grip Nyatoh neck with a Macassar Ebony fretboard, 20 frets and a 634 mm (25") scale length. Its 43 mm nut width and 400 mm fretboard radius provide a comfortable, accessible playing feel. For amplified performance, the AEWC621-BOT uses a Fishman S-Core pickup paired with the Ibanez AEQ-SP2 preamp, which includes an onboard tuner and provides both balanced XLR and 1/4" outputs for flexible connection to amplifiers, PA systems and audio equipment. (Ibanez)

A standout feature is the Macassar Ebony AEWC original top-loading bridge, which allows strings to be loaded from the top and eliminates the need for traditional bridge pins. Black die-cast tuning machines with an 18:1 gear ratio provide reliable tuning stability, while the BOT (Black Out) finish gives the guitar a distinctive dark appearance. The instrument uses Ibanez IACS6C coated strings and a single 9V battery for its electronics. (Ibanez)
