Ibanez AGS73FM-VLS

The Ibanez AGS73FM-VLS is a semi-hollow electric guitar from the Artcore Series, featuring the compact AGS body shape with a single-cutaway design. Its Flamed Maple top, back and sides give the instrument a distinctive figured appearance, while the semi-hollow construction provides a resonant character with a clear, articulate response. The 628 mm (24.7") scale and comfortable AGS set-in neck make it suitable for jazz, blues, rock, pop and other styles requiring both chordal and lead versatility. 

The guitar uses a Nyatoh AGS Artcore set-in neck paired with a bound Walnut fretboard and acrylic block inlays in the later VLS version. Its 22 medium frets, 43 mm nut width and 305 mm fretboard radius provide a comfortable playing platform. Two Ibanez Classic Elite passive ceramic humbuckers offer a balanced, versatile tonal range, with separate volume and tone controls for each pickup and a 3-way selector for quick sound changes. 

Hardware includes the Gibraltar Performer bridge and Quik Change III tailpiece, providing stable string positioning and convenient restringing. Chrome hardware complements the VLS Violin Sunburst finish, while the compact 2 3/4-inch maximum body depth keeps the instrument comfortable compared with larger hollow-body designs. The AGS73FM-VLS was part of Ibanez's 2017–2021 Artcore lineup and is a discontinued model. 
