The Arturia MiniFreak is a revolutionary polyphonic hybrid synthesizer that fuses the expansive world of digital synthesis with the classic warmth of polyphonic analog filters. Building upon the innovative foundation of its sibling, the MicroFreak, MiniFreak expands the sonic palette, offering a powerful and intuitive platform for musicians, producers, and sound designers to explore uncharted sonic territories.  

At its core are two digital sound engines with a total of 22 oscillator modes, including diverse options like Wavetable, FM/RM, and granular processing, along with unique algorithms from Mutable Instruments and Noise Engineering. These engines can be used independently, stacked, or even used to process each other, opening up unique sound design possibilities. The resulting digital sounds are then sculpted by polyphonic analog filters and VCAs, providing warmth and character to every note. 

The MiniFreak's expressive capabilities are enhanced by its 37-note velocity-sensitive slim-key keybed with aftertouch, allowing for dynamic performances. The redesigned modulation matrix offers extensive control, routing 7 sources to 13 potential destinations, plus user-customizable LFO curves and dual LFOs. Dive into spontaneous sequencing with the intuitive 64-step sequencer, featuring 4 lanes of automated modulation and performance arpeggiator controls like Ratchet and Octave Randomize. Further refine your sound with three digital effects slots offering 10 FX types including Chorus, Phaser, Flanger, Reverb, Delay, Distortion, EQ, and more. 

Seamlessly integrate MiniFreak into your workflow with its dedicated VST counterpart, MiniFreak V, included free with the hardware. MiniFreak V mirrors the hardware's sound engines and architecture, allowing you to edit and manage presets in your DAW, and even control the VST with your MiniFreak hardware. 

MiniFreak boasts comprehensive connectivity, including full-sized MIDI In/Out/Thru ports, USB-B connectivity, audio input for processing external signals, Sustain pedal input, and Clock I/O. The OLED display provides clear visual feedback for parameters and preset management.
