With the introduction of the Core-PE Mahogany we have forged the same idea and focus of the Core Series onto a historic Parlor body shape, keeping it historically accurate and aesthetically appealing while staying true to the essentials of a great guitar.

Cort’s new Core Series acoustic guitars are designed with simplicity in mind. Our main goal was to shed away any non-essential flashy features and stay focused on what truly makes acoustic guitars great. Parlor Body Shape

Based on the revered vintage parlor body guitars from the 1930’s, the 14th fret neck-body joint with 24.75” (628mm) neck scale not only imparts a vintage look and feel, but produces a prominent low-end and surprisingly loud volume for a guitar of its compact size which is quickly becoming popular among players of many different genres and playing styles.

All Solid Mahogany Model

Developed in accordance with recent acoustic guitar market trends, this model features not only mahogany back and sides but mahogany top as well. Although darker sounding than spruce, mahogany produces a warmer tone with a full rich mid-range.
