Ibanez GRX40

The Ibanez GRX40 is a solid-body electric guitar from the GIO Series, featuring an RG-inspired double-cutaway body designed for comfortable access across the fretboard. Its Poplar body and GRX Maple neck provide a straightforward, balanced platform for beginners and developing guitarists. The 25.5-inch scale length gives it a familiar full-size electric-guitar feel, making it suitable for rock, pop, blues and heavier styles.

The GRX40 uses an HSS pickup configuration, combining an Infinity R passive ceramic humbucker at the bridge with two Infinity RS passive ceramic single-coil pickups in the neck and middle positions. A 5-way pickup selector provides a variety of tonal combinations, while the master volume and tone controls keep operation simple.

The guitar is equipped with a T106 tremolo bridge with 10.5 mm string spacing and six independently adjustable saddles for individual string setup. A Jatoba fretboard with white-dot inlays, 22 medium frets and chrome hardware complete the current specification. The GRX40 is available in several finishes depending on market, including Black Night, Metallic Light Green, Metallic Light Blue and Candy Apple.
