Ibanez AAD100E-OPN

The Ibanez AAD100E-OPN is a 6-string acoustic-electric guitar from the Advanced Acoustic series, featuring a Grand Dreadnought body designed for strong projection, full low-end response and a balanced acoustic tone. It combines a solid Sitka Spruce top with Okoume back and sides and Ibanez X-M Bracing, providing a responsive and powerful sound suitable for strumming, songwriting, fingerstyle playing and live performance. Its Open Pore Natural finish gives the instrument a natural appearance while allowing the character of the wood to remain visually prominent.

The guitar features a Thermo Aged Nyatoh neck with Ibanez's Low Oval Grip profile and Rounded Fretboard Edge for a comfortable playing experience. An Ovangkol fretboard and scalloped Ovangkol bridge complement the body construction, while the 651 mm scale length, 43 mm nut width and 400 mm fretboard radius provide a versatile playing feel. The guitar has 20 nickel-silver frets, small White Dot inlays, a plastic nut and saddle, and a wooden multi rosette.

For amplified performance, the AAD100E-OPN is equipped with an Ibanez AP11 Magnetic pickup and Ibanez Custom Electronics with dedicated Volume and Tone controls. The 1/4-inch endpin output allows direct connection to an acoustic amplifier, PA system or recording equipment. Chrome die-cast tuners with an 18:1 gear ratio, Ibanez Advantage bridge pins, a brown tortoise pickguard and D'Addario XTAPB1253 strings complete the instrument. The model was discontinued in several markets after 2023, although remaining stock may still be available.
