Ibanez AAD51CE

The Ibanez AAD51CE is a 6-string acoustic-electric guitar from the Advanced Acoustic series, featuring Ibanez's Grand Dreadnought body with an Advanced Access Cutaway. Its solid Sitka Spruce top is paired with Sapele back and sides to provide a broad tonal response with clear highs, defined mids and a full low end. The slightly larger Grand Dreadnought body is designed for strong projection and volume, while the cutaway provides easier access to the higher frets.

The guitar features X-M Bracing, developed to efficiently transfer string vibration through the bridge while maintaining a responsive and dynamic acoustic voice. The Low Oval Grip Okoume neck offers a comfortable shape for chord playing and extended sessions, while the Purpleheart fretboard and 400 mm radius provide a smooth playing surface. The A.I.R.port on the side of the body directs part of the guitar's sound toward the player, improving self-monitoring while playing.

For amplified performance, the AAD51CE uses an Ibanez T-bar Undersaddle pickup connected to the AEQ-TP2 preamp with onboard tuner. The preamp provides volume, bass and treble controls, while balanced XLR and standard 1/4-inch outputs allow connection to PA systems, amplifiers and recording equipment. Chrome die-cast tuners, an Abalone rosette, Purpleheart bridge and Ibanez Advantage bridge pins complete the instrument, with finishes including Natural High Gloss, Dark Violin Sunburst High Gloss and Sunburst High Gloss.
