Product details

Ibanez AZ24027 Prestige

The Ibanez AZ24027 is a Japanese-made Prestige 7-string electric guitar designed for players who need extended-range capability while retaining the familiar ergonomics and playability of the AZ platform. It features an Alder body paired with an AZ7 Oval C S-TECH WOOD Roasted Maple neck and matching roasted Maple fingerboard, providing a balanced tonal response and a smooth, comfortable playing surface. The ergonomic AZ body incorporates a shallow rear contour and pronounced forearm contour, while the Super All Access Neck Joint provides improved access to the upper frets. (Ibanez)

The AZ24027 is equipped with a pair of Seymour Duncan Hyperion 7 passive/Alnico humbuckers in an HH configuration. The pickups provide a balanced response with clear articulation and sufficient output for both clean and driven applications. Ibanez's dyna-MIX10 switching system with Alter Switch provides ten tonal variations from the two-humbucker setup, expanding the instrument's range beyond conventional HH wiring. The 24-fret, 305 mm-radius fingerboard provides a comfortable platform for chords, bends, fast passages and extended-range techniques. (Ibanez)

Hardware includes a Gotoh T1872S tremolo bridge with 10.5 mm string spacing and Gotoh MG-T locking machine heads for reliable tuning stability. The Graph Tech BLACK TUSQ XL nut is designed for smooth string movement, while the S-TECH WOOD Roasted Maple fingerboard features black dot inlays, Luminlay side dots and 24 jumbo stainless-steel frets with Ibanez Prestige fret-edge treatment. Finished in Tri Fade Burst Flat with chrome hardware, the AZ24027 is supplied with an Ibanez hardshell case and D'Addario EXL110-7 strings. (星野楽器 HOSHINO GAKKI CO., LTD.)
