Ibanez AZ2407F Prestige
Product details
Ibanez AZ2407F Prestige
The Ibanez AZ2407F is a Japanese-made Prestige electric guitar designed for players who want high-end construction, fast playability and a versatile HSH pickup configuration. Its 4 mm Flamed Maple top is paired with a Basswood body, providing a balanced and naturally even tonal foundation while giving the instrument a distinctive figured appearance. The AZ Oval C S-TECH WOOD Roasted Maple neck and matching roasted Maple fingerboard provide a smooth playing surface, while the ergonomic AZ body and Super All Access Neck Joint make the instrument comfortable for both rhythm and lead playing.
The AZ2407F features DiMarzio Air Norton, True Velvet and The Tone Zone pickups in an HSH configuration. The Air Norton neck humbucker provides warm, full and articulate tones, the True Velvet middle single-coil delivers clear and responsive single-coil character, and The Tone Zone bridge humbucker provides a powerful, full-bodied voice for driven and high-gain applications. A conventional five-way pickup selector provides five pickup combinations, allowing the guitar to cover clean, blues, rock, fusion and heavier styles without the complexity of additional switching systems.
A Gotoh T1502S tremolo bridge provides responsive tremolo operation and uses 10.5 mm string spacing for comfortable picking across the strings. Gotoh MG-T locking machine heads improve tuning stability and make string changes quicker, while the oil-impregnated bone nut contributes to smooth string movement and resonance. The S-TECH WOOD Roasted Maple fingerboard features Abalone dot inlays, Luminlay side dots and 24 jumbo stainless-steel frets with Prestige fret-edge treatment. Available in Brownish Sphalerite and Sodalite finishes with chrome hardware, the AZ2407F is supplied with an Ibanez hardshell case.
