Ibanez AZ24S2-BK

The Ibanez AZ24S2-BK is a 6-string solid-body electric guitar from the AZ series, designed to offer modern versatility and comfortable playability in a streamlined format. Its Alder body delivers a balanced, bright tonal response with strong resonance and sustain, while the AZ Roasted Maple neck provides improved stability and resistance to changes in temperature and humidity. The Super All Access Neck Joint further enhances upper-fret accessibility, making the guitar suitable for both rhythm and lead playing.

The guitar is equipped with a pair of Ibanez Modern Custom passive humbuckers featuring Alnico V magnets. These pickups provide a powerful and responsive sound with clear note definition, particularly when used with overdrive and distortion. The dyna-MIX10 switching system with Alter Switch expands the HH configuration into ten tonal variations, including Power Tap mode for brighter, single-coil-inspired sounds. A five-way pickup selector, master volume and master tone controls provide practical access to a wide range of sounds.

The AZ24S2-BK features a Jatoba fingerboard with white dot inlays and 24 jumbo stainless-steel frets, offering durability, quick response and smooth articulation. A T106 tremolo bridge with six independent saddles allows precise string-height and intonation adjustment, while locking machine heads provide dependable tuning stability and faster string changes. Finished in Black with chrome hardware, the guitar is supplied with a tremolo arm; compatible Ibanez cases and gig bags may be available separately.
