Ibanez ES3

The Ibanez ES3 Echo Shifter is a versatile analog/digital delay pedal that combines genuine analog delay circuitry with a longer-range digital delay mode. Its analog mode delivers warm, natural repeats from 40ms to 600ms, while the digital mode extends the delay range up to 1500ms, making the ES3 suitable for everything from subtle ambience and slapback to spacious, rhythmic and experimental delay effects.

The ES3 features Mix, Feedback, Depth, Speed and Delay Time controls, providing detailed control over the character and intensity of the delay. A selectable modulation function adds movement to the repeats, with Speed and Depth controls allowing players to create anything from gentle modulation to more pronounced pitch-shifting textures. The pedal also includes a tap-tempo function and an oscillation mode for creative sound design.

A dedicated Analog/Digital switch lets players choose between the warm response of the analog circuit and the extended range of digital delay. The rear-panel Instrument/Line-level selector allows the pedal to accommodate different signal levels. It uses 1/4-inch input and output connections, external 9V DC center-negative power, and requires 200mA at 9V. The ES3 measures approximately 120 × 160 × 65 mm.
