Ibanez GSR205B

The Ibanez GSR205B is a 5-string electric bass from the GIO series, featuring the comfortable and ergonomic GSR body design with a 34-inch scale length. Its Okoume body and GSR5 Maple neck provide a balanced combination of stability, comfortable handling and a clear, punchy response. The five-string configuration extends the instrument into a lower register with the added low-B string, making it suitable for rock, pop, funk, metal, gospel and other contemporary styles.

The bass is equipped with Dynamix H passive humbucking pickups in both the neck and bridge positions, delivering a powerful and full bass sound. Separate volume controls allow the two pickups to be blended, while the master tone control provides additional tonal shaping. The current version features a Jatoba or Purpleheart fretboard depending on regional production, with 22 medium frets, a 45 mm nut width and 305 mm radius.
