Ibanez IEBS5C

The Ibanez IEBS5C is a coated 5-string electric bass guitar string set designed in a Light Top, Medium Bottom configuration. Its nickel-wound construction provides a balanced combination of comfortable playability on the higher strings and increased firmness on the lower strings. This makes the set suitable for bassists who want easy response on the treble strings while maintaining strong definition and stability across the lower register.

The set uses .045, .065, .085, .105, and .130 gauges, providing a progressive tension setup across all five strings. The lighter upper strings allow comfortable fretting and expressive playing, while the heavier lower strings provide a firmer feel for low-register riffs, grooves, and extended-range bass parts. The IEBS5C is designed for 5-string electric basses and supports basses with scales up to 35 inches.

The IEBS5C features coated nickel-wound strings designed for regular electric bass use. Its Light Top, Medium Bottom configuration makes it a versatile replacement set for players who prefer a hybrid tension profile rather than an identical gauge across the entire set. The coated construction is also intended to provide additional protection during regular use.
