Ibanez IEBS6C

The Ibanez IEBS6C is a coated 6-string electric bass guitar string set designed in a Light Top, Medium Bottom configuration. Its nickel-wound construction provides a versatile balance between comfortable playability on the higher strings and greater firmness on the lower strings. This makes the set suitable for extended-range bass playing where both expressive upper-register work and strong low-end response are required.

The set uses .032, .045, .065, .085, .105, and .130 gauges, creating a progressive tension profile across all six strings. The lighter top string allows easier fretting and articulation, while the heavier lower strings provide increased stability for low-register grooves, riffs, and extended-range bass lines. The IEBS6C is designed for 6-string electric basses and is specified for basses with scales up to 35 inches.

The IEBS6C features nickel-wound strings with a coated construction, providing a practical combination of familiar electric-bass response and added protection for regular playing. Its Light Top, Medium Bottom configuration makes it a versatile replacement set for bassists who prefer a lighter feel on the upper strings without sacrificing firmness and definition in the lower register.
