Ibanez MDM1300-NAB Mode
Product details
Ibanez MDM1300-NAB Mode
The Ibanez MDM1300-NAB is a 4-string electric bass from the Ibanez Mode series, combining a contemporary ergonomic design with versatile active electronics and a comfortable long-scale playing platform. Its Ash body delivers a naturally bright response with clear articulation and sustain, while the MDM4 Roasted Maple neck and matching Roasted Maple fingerboard provide a stable, smooth playing surface. The MDM body shape is designed for balance and comfortable access across all 24 frets, making the bass suitable for both stage and studio applications.
The MDM1300-NAB is equipped with a pair of Ibanez Delta S4J passive pickups in neck and bridge positions. These hum-cancelling pickups are voiced to provide an aggressive yet balanced single-coil-style character with clear response across the frequency range. An Ibanez Sonitech S preamp provides active 3-band EQ control, while the push/pull EQ bypass on the master tone control allows the player to switch between active EQ operation and a passive signal path. The Hexa Mid system further expands tonal control by offering six selectable mid-frequency centres through two frequency banks.
The bass features an MR5S bridge with 19 mm string spacing and Ibanez Aero-light machine heads for reliable tuning and a comfortable string layout. Its Roasted Maple fingerboard has 24 medium stainless-steel frets, black dot inlays and luminescent side dots for visibility in low-light conditions. A detachable finger ramp is included for players who prefer a defined reference point for fingerstyle technique. The Natural Stained Amber Burst finish is complemented by black hardware, and the MDM1300-NAB is supplied with an Ibanez gig bag.
