The Ibanez RG8570 is a premium Japanese-made J.Custom electric guitar designed for advanced players who demand exceptional playability, refined construction and a wide tonal range. Its familiar RG body combines an African Mahogany body with a 4 mm AAA Flamed Maple top, providing a rich mid-low response with added visual depth and attack. The 5-piece Maple/Wenge RG J.Custom Super Wizard neck and ergonomic All Access Neck Joint create a fast, comfortable platform particularly suited to technical playing, lead work and high-performance guitar styles.

The RG8570 uses an HSH pickup configuration comprising a DiMarzio Air Norton humbucker at the neck, DiMarzio True Velvet single-coil in the middle and DiMarzio The Tone Zone humbucker at the bridge. A five-way selector provides five pickup combinations, ranging from full humbucker tones to single-coil and combined settings. The 24 jumbo frets feature Ibanez's j.custom fret-edge treatment for a particularly smooth feel, while the 648 mm scale and 430 mm fingerboard radius support accurate fretting, fast runs and expressive bends.

The guitar is equipped with a Lo-Pro Edge tremolo bridge with 10.8 mm string spacing and a locking nut for dependable tuning stability during tremolo use. Its bound rosewood fingerboard features the distinctive Tree of Life inlay, while Luminlay side dots improve visibility on darker stages. Gotoh machine heads and strap-lock pins complement the Cosmo Black hardware, and the RG8570 is supplied with a hardshell case for professional transport and protection. Current finishes include Black Rutile and Royal Blue Sapphire, with additional market-specific finishes available depending on version.
