Ibanez TSV808

The Ibanez TSV808 is a premium Tube Screamer overdrive pedal developed in collaboration with Japanese boutique pedal manufacturer Vemuram. It combines the familiar mid-focused character of the Tube Screamer with the broader dynamic and frequency response associated with Vemuram's Jan Ray, creating a more flexible interpretation of the classic overdrive design. The pedal uses an all-analog circuit and is made in Japan.

The front panel provides Overdrive, Tone, and Level controls, while additional Saturation and Bass trimmers provide deeper tonal adjustment. The Saturation trimmer changes the maximum gain range, with its center position corresponding to a standard TS808-style setting. Internally, two DIP switches allow selection between four different diode-clipping configurations, including symmetrical and asymmetrical clipping.

The TSV808 is built into a 100% brass enclosure and uses True Bypass switching. It can operate from either 9V or 18V DC power, giving players additional headroom at the higher voltage. Its 70 × 125 × 57 mm enclosure retains the familiar Tube Screamer-style footprint while incorporating the premium construction associated with the Vemuram collaboration.
