Ibanez V40CE-OPN

The Ibanez V40CE-OPN is a six-string acoustic-electric guitar featuring a Cutaway Dreadnought body designed for strong projection, balanced acoustic response, and comfortable access to the upper frets. Its Spruce top is combined with Meranti back and sides, delivering a clear, warm and versatile tone suitable for strumming, chord playing, songwriting, practice, and live performance. The cutaway design makes higher-position playing more accessible while retaining the full response associated with a Dreadnought body.

The guitar features a V-profile Meranti neck with a Nandu Wood fretboard, 20 frets, a 650 mm (25.6") scale length, 42 mm nut width, and 250 mm fretboard radius. Its 11 mm string spacing and .012–.053 string set provide a familiar steel-string playing feel. The Nandu Wood bridge and Ibanez Advantage™ bridge pins provide secure string placement and contribute to reliable acoustic performance.

For amplified use, the V40CE-OPN is equipped with an Ibanez Undersaddle pickup and an Ibanez AEQ-2T preamp with an onboard tuner. The preamp provides volume, bass, and treble controls, while the integrated tuner allows quick tuning adjustments without requiring a separate tuner. A 1/4" output jack connects the guitar to an amplifier, PA system, or other compatible equipment, with the electronics powered by a single 9V battery.

The guitar features an Open Pore Natural finish that highlights the natural appearance of the wood. Additional appointments include white dot fretboard inlays, a water-decal soundhole rosette, Chrome Covered tuning machines, and Ibanez Advantage™ bridge pins.
