Product details
Martin 000-16 StreetMaster® Acoustic Guitar
The Martin 000-16 StreetMaster® is a premium all-solid 000-14 Fret acoustic guitar that combines East Indian rosewood back and sides with an Adirondack spruce top featuring Martin's Vintage Tone System® (VTS). Designed to deliver the character of a seasoned instrument with the reliability of a new guitar, the StreetMaster® finish gives the instrument a distinctive distressed, road-worn appearance, while the rosewood-and-Adirondack combination produces a rich, articulate, and highly responsive tonal character.
The 000 body offers a comfortable playing experience with a balanced voice that works particularly well for fingerstyle, flatpicking, and strumming. Scalloped X-bracing helps the Adirondack spruce top respond dynamically, providing strong projection, clarity, and harmonic detail. The 24.9-inch short scale, Modified Low Oval neck profile, and 1 3/4-inch nut width provide a comfortable and expressive playing feel, while the High-Performance Taper allows smooth movement across the fingerboard.
The 000-16 StreetMaster® is finished in Dark Mahogany with a satin distressed treatment across the body and neck. An East Indian rosewood fingerboard and bridge, GE Diamond & Square Short Pattern abalone inlays, compensated bone saddle, bone nut, and aged nickel tuning machines complete its understated vintage-inspired appearance. The guitar comes with a soft gig bag and is fitted with Martin Authentic Acoustic Lifespan® 2.0 Phosphor Bronze Light strings.
