The Martin 000-28E Modern Deluxe is a premium Auditorium acoustic-electric guitar that combines the rich, complex character of solid East Indian rosewood with the clarity and responsiveness of a spruce top. Its comfortable 000-14 Fret body delivers a balanced voice with warm bass, articulate mids, clear trebles, and impressive harmonic detail, making it equally suited to fingerstyle, flatpicking, strumming, recording, and live performance.

The 000-28E Modern Deluxe features Martin's Vintage Deluxe scalloped X-bracing, which enhances the soundboard's responsiveness, resonance, projection, and sustain. Its 24.9-inch short scale offers a comfortable playing feel, while the Vintage Deluxe neck profile, High-Performance Taper, and 1 3/4-inch nut width provide excellent control and smooth playability across the ebony fingerboard.

Premium Modern Deluxe appointments include a European flamed maple neck, titanium truss rod, EVO gold frets, Liquidmetal® bridge pins with abalone inlays, and Waverly® gold open-gear tuning machines with butterbean knobs. The guitar is equipped with Fishman Aura VT Blend electronics for natural amplified performance and features a gloss spruce top with Aging Toner, gloss East Indian rosewood back and sides, ebony fingerboard and bridge, antique white binding, and a tortoise-pattern pickguard.
