Its European red spruce top with Vintage Tone System® (VTS) treatment and solid East Indian rosewood back and sides deliver exceptional clarity, rich overtones, dynamic headroom, and a balanced tonal response, making it equally suited to fingerstyle, flatpicking, strumming, and professional recording.

The OM-28 Modern Deluxe features Golden Era-style scalloped X-bracing crafted from VTS-treated Adirondack spruce, helping the soundboard deliver a lively, responsive voice with excellent projection and sustain. Natural protein glue construction and a lightweight carbon-fiber bridge plate further enhance resonance and energy transfer. Its 25.4-inch scale length provides strong articulation and dynamic range, while the Vintage Deluxe neck profile and 1 3/4-inch nut width offer a comfortable and precise playing experience.

Premium Modern Deluxe appointments include European flamed maple binding, a flamed maple heelcap and endpiece, Liquidmetal® bridge pins with red acrylic dots, EVO gold frets, and Waverly® gold open-gear tuning machines with butterbean knobs. A 1933-style pearl Martin headplate logo, bold herringbone top inlay, abalone Diamonds & Squares Long Pattern fingerboard inlays, and a tortoise-pattern pickguard complete its sophisticated appearance.
