Martin OM-28E
Product details
Martin OM-28E Acoustic-Electric Guitar
The Martin OM-28E is a premium Standard Series Auditorium acoustic-electric guitar that combines a solid spruce top with solid East Indian rosewood back and sides for a rich, balanced, and highly responsive tonal character. Its 000-14 Fret body delivers deep bass, clear trebles, strong projection, and complex overtones, making it exceptionally versatile for fingerstyle playing, flatpicking, strumming, recording, and live performance.
The OM-28E features Martin's Golden Era (GE) scalloped X-bracing, which allows the spruce soundboard to respond dynamically with enhanced resonance, sustain, and tonal detail. Its 25.4-inch scale length provides increased string tension, projection, and clarity, while the GE Modified Low Oval neck profile, High-Performance Taper, and 1 3/4-inch nut width provide a comfortable and precise playing experience.
The guitar features an aging-toned gloss spruce top with bold herringbone top inlay, gloss East Indian rosewood back and sides, an ebony fingerboard and bridge, and Diamonds & Squares Long Pattern abalone inlays. Antique white binding, a faux tortoise pickguard, nickel open-gear tuning machines with butterbean knobs, and a Style 28 multi-stripe rosette complete its refined appearance. The OM-28E is equipped with Fishman Aura VT Blend electronics and comes with a molded hardshell case.
