Novation Circuit Mono Station

Product details

Novation Circuit Mono Station Paraphonic Analogue Synthesizer

The Novation Circuit Mono Station is a compact paraphonic analogue synthesizer and sequencer that combines the analogue synthesis architecture of the Bass Station II with the hands-on workflow of the Circuit groovebox. Designed for electronic music production and live performance, it features two independently controllable analogue oscillators, a dedicated sub-oscillator, analogue filtering, extensive modulation, and a powerful three-track sequencer built around a 32-pad velocity-sensitive RGB grid.

The Mono Station's two oscillators can be sequenced independently, allowing it to operate in both monophonic and paraphonic modes for creating layered basses, leads, sequences, and evolving synth patterns. Its analogue signal path includes a multi-mode filter with pre-filter overdrive, three-mode analogue distortion, ring modulation, noise generation, and a flexible modulation matrix, providing extensive sound-shaping possibilities.

The integrated sequencer provides three tracks covering Oscillator 1, Oscillator 2, and modulation, with adjustable pattern length, rate, direction, swing, gate length, velocity, and pattern chaining. With 64 synth patch memories, 16 musical scales, MIDI connectivity, CV/Gate outputs, an assignable auxiliary CV output, and an external audio input, the Circuit Mono Station can serve as both a standalone instrument and a versatile centerpiece for a hardware-based studio setup.
