Ibanez PC14MHCE-WK

The Ibanez PC14MHCE-WK is a Performance Series acoustic-electric guitar featuring a Cutaway Grand Concert body designed for comfortable playing, balanced projection and improved access to the upper frets. It is constructed with an okoume top, back and sides, giving the guitar a warm, full acoustic character with a woody response and clear projection when strummed. The guitar uses a 634 mm (25-inch) scale length, a 42 mm nut width and a 20-fret fingerboard, providing a comfortable and familiar playing feel. Its Venetian-style cutaway allows easier access to the higher register, while the PC Nyatoh neck and Laurel fretboard provide a smooth and stable playing surface. For amplified use, the PC14MHCE-WK features an Ibanez undersaddle pickup connected to the AEQ-2T preamp, which provides volume, bass and treble controls along with a built-in tuner that can be operated without the guitar being connected to an amplifier.

The PC14MHCE-WK features a Weathered Black Open Pore finish that highlights the natural texture of the wood while giving the guitar a distinctive dark appearance. It is equipped with a Laurel bridge, Ibanez Advantage™ bridge pins, chrome tuning machines, white dot fretboard inlays and a tortoiseshell soundhole rosette. The guitar comes fitted with Ibanez IACS6C coated strings in .012–.053 gauge and includes a 1/4-inch output connection with a 9V-powered electronic system for amplified applications.
