Ibanez SR300EDX

The Ibanez SR300EDX is a 4-string electric bass from the Soundgear SR series, built around the slim and ergonomic SR body shape. The current version features an Okoume body, a 5-piece Maple/Walnut SR4 neck and a Jatoba fretboard with white dot inlays. Its 864 mm (34-inch) scale, 38 mm nut width and 24 medium frets provide a comfortable long-scale playing experience. (Ibanez)

The SR300EDX features a pair of passive PowerSpan Dual Coil pickups paired with Ibanez Custom Electronics, including a 3-band EQ and 3-way Power Tap switch. Tap mode delivers a more articulate character, Series mode provides a fuller humbucking sound, while Power Tap combines clarity with enhanced low-end response. The bass uses an Accu-cast B500 bridge with 19 mm string spacing and gold hardware. It is factory tuned G-D-A-E and comes fitted with D’Addario EXL165 strings in .045/.065/.085/.105 gauges. The current SR300EDX is offered in finishes including Wine Red Frozen Matte, Black Ice Frozen Matte, Cosmic Blue Frozen Matte, Frozen Black Glacier Matte and Frozen Gold Matte. (Ibanez)
