Ibanez SR305E

The Ibanez SR305E is a 5-string electric bass from the Soundgear SR series, designed around a slim and ergonomic SR body for comfortable playing across extended sessions. The current version features an Okoume body, a 5-piece Maple/Walnut SR5 neck and a Jatoba fretboard with white dot inlays. Its 864 mm (34-inch) scale, 45 mm nut width and 24 medium frets provide a familiar long-scale feel while accommodating the extended low-B range. (Ibanez)

The bass is equipped with a pair of passive PowerSpan Dual Coil pickups and Ibanez Custom Electronics featuring a 3-band EQ with a 3-way Power Tap switch. The three pickup modes offer different tonal characteristics: Tap provides a punchy and articulate response, Series produces a fuller humbucking tone, and Power Tap combines single-coil-style clarity with additional low-end weight. For reliable string support, the SR305E uses an Accu-cast B125 bridge with 16.5 mm string spacing and Cosmo Black hardware. It is factory tuned G-D-A-E-B and comes fitted with D’Addario EXL165 strings, including a .130 low-B string. The current model is offered in finishes including Deep Ocean Metallic, Midnight Gray Burst, Pearl White and Metallic Silver Sunburst, depending on market. (Ibanez)
