Yamaha B20 PE Upright Acoustic Piano

The Yamaha B20 PE is a 116 cm upright acoustic piano designed to deliver a rich, clear and expressive playing experience while maintaining a practical footprint for homes, studios and teaching environments. As part of Yamaha’s latest B Series, it combines a redesigned soundboard, newly developed B Series Special hammers and Yamaha’s proven acoustic piano craftsmanship.

Its increased height compared with the B10 provides a larger soundboard area and longer bass strings, contributing to a wider dynamic range, stronger low-frequency response and a more expansive acoustic character. The B Series Special hammers are designed to provide a focused, resonant tone with clear articulation across the keyboard, while the five back posts help support the soundboard structure and maintain stable resonance.

The B20 PE features an 88-key keyboard with acrylic resin white keys and phenolic resin black keys, supported by a V-Pro cast-iron frame for structural stability. Its Damper, Muffler and Soft pedals provide useful control over sustain, volume and playing response, while the soft-close fallboard and full-length music stand add convenience and safety for everyday use. The PE version comes in a classic Polished Ebony finish.
