Yamaha CLP-825 Clavinova Digital Piano

The Yamaha CLP-825 is an entry-level Clavinova digital piano designed to provide an authentic grand-piano playing experience in a compact, elegant cabinet. It features Yamaha’s GrandTouch-S keyboard with escapement, delivering a natural weighted response and realistic key feel, while Grand Expression Modeling translates the player’s touch and technique into detailed changes in tone and dynamics.

The CLP-825 includes the voices of two renowned concert grand pianos: the Yamaha CFX and Bösendorfer Imperial. Virtual Resonance Modeling (VRM) recreates the complex sympathetic resonances of an acoustic piano, while Binaural Sampling provides a more immersive headphone experience with the CFX Grand voice. With 256-note maximum polyphony and 10 built-in voices, the piano provides ample capability for practice, repertoire and performance.

Beyond its acoustic-piano features, the CLP-825 offers practical digital functions including Bluetooth Audio and Bluetooth MIDI, allowing compatible smart devices to connect wirelessly. It also includes Duo mode, Dual mode, a 2-track MIDI recorder, metronome, 50 classic songs and 303 lesson songs. The three-pedal unit includes Damper with half-pedal functionality, Sostenuto and Soft pedals, providing expressive control comparable to traditional piano playing.
