Yamaha CSP-255 Clavinova Digital Piano

The Yamaha CSP-255 is a Clavinova digital piano designed to combine an authentic piano-playing experience with intelligent learning and performance features. Its 88-key GrandTouch-S keyboard with escapement provides a weighted, piano-like response, while Yamaha CFX and Bösendorfer Imperial concert grand samples deliver detailed and expressive acoustic piano tones. The instrument is particularly well suited to players who want a digital piano that can grow with their playing, from learning and practice to performance and creative work.

One of the defining features of the CSP-255 is its integration with the Yamaha Smart Pianist app. The app provides an intuitive interface for controlling the instrument and offers advanced learning functions, including Stream Lights, which use four LEDs above the keyboard to indicate which keys to play and when. Audio to Score can analyze compatible songs from a smart device and create piano accompaniment data, making it easier to learn and play along with favorite music.

The CSP-255 also provides extensive sound and accompaniment capabilities, with 772 voices plus 47 Drum/SFX kits, 495 accompaniment styles and 403 preset songs. Virtual Resonance Modeling and Grand Expression Modeling add depth and realism to the piano sound, while 256-note polyphony supports complex performances. Bluetooth Audio, Bluetooth MIDI, microphone input, USB connectivity and multi-track MIDI recording further expand its usefulness for practice, entertainment and music creation.
