Yamaha YEV105 Black Electric Violin

The Yamaha YEV105 Black Electric Violin is a stylish five-string electric violin designed for musicians seeking extended tonal range, modern aesthetics and expressive amplified performance. Part of Yamaha's innovative YEV series, it combines traditional violin playing comfort with contemporary electric instrument design. Its additional low C string expands the instrument's musical possibilities, making it suitable for a wide range of musical styles and performance settings.

Featuring Yamaha's distinctive layered wooden frame, the YEV105 combines carefully selected materials to create an attractive and lightweight instrument. Its passive pickup system captures string vibrations and delivers a clear, responsive signal when connected to an amplifier or compatible audio equipment. The five-string configuration provides an extended range, allowing musicians to explore lower notes while retaining familiar violin playing techniques.

Finished in an elegant black colour, the YEV105 offers a distinctive appearance suited to modern stage performances. Its passive electronic system does not require batteries, making it convenient for regular use. The integrated output connection allows straightforward connection to external amplification equipment, providing flexibility for rehearsals, performances and musical experimentation.
